Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen logs, and enter patient data accurately. Process billing information, collect payments, and handle administrative and clerical duties. Provide superior customer service to all patients and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Saturday on an as-needed variable schedule, with a maximum of 19 hours per week. Phlebotomy certification or three months of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Monday-Saturday, AS NEEDED-Variable schedule (not to work more then 19 hours in a week)
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
