Phlebotomist - PRN Port St Lucie

Job Summary
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens, perform accurate data entry of patient information, process billing, and prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs, handle administrative and clerical duties, and travel to additional sites when needed. Provide superior customer service to all patients while adhering to a variable Monday-Saturday schedule with a maximum of 19 hours per week. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months experience as a phbotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
