Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, perform accurate data entry of patient information, and process billing and payments. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service and handling administrative duties. Travel to additional sites when needed and work Saturdays from 7am-11am with variable Monday-Friday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must be from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Every Saturday from 7am-11:00am
- Monday-Friday, AS NEEDED-Variable schedule (not to work more then 19 hours in a week)
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
