Job Summary
Conduct venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, perform accurate data entry of patient information, and process billing and payments. Prepare collected specimens, maintain patient and specimen logs, and handle administrative and clerical duties as needed. Provide superior customer service to all patients while traveling to additional sites when required. Work Monday-Saturday, as needed, with a variable schedule not exceeding 19 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months experience as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Monday-Saturday, AS NEEDED-Variable schedule (not to work more then 19 hours in a week)
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
