Phlebotomist - PRN

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis while entering patient data accurately and timely. Process billing information, collect payments, and maintain patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required. Work Monday through Friday on an as-needed variable schedule, with a maximum of 19 hours per week. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within Labcorp's global network and potential participation in the PST Incentive Plan.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
