Job Summary
Phlebotomist PRN at Labcorp performing blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups at a Patient Service Center or Client office. Responsibilities include collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, data entry of patient information, processing billing information, preparing specimens for testing, maintaining logs, and providing customer service. Travel to additional sites as needed; schedule is AS NEEDED with a variable weekly total not exceeding 19 hours. Requires phlebotomy certification or completed training program (or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience) and a high school diploma or GED. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
