Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect patient information, process billing and payments, and prepare specimens for testing while maintaining accurate logs. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed. This PRN position offers flexible hours Monday through Saturday with pay ranging from $17.75 to $27.69 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Travel to additional sites when needed
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
