Job Summary
Phlebotomist responsible for collecting blood samples from patients of all ages in a hospital setting, prioritizing STAT, urgent, timed, and routine orders, maintaining stock and labeling tubes, properly collecting Blood Bank specimens, operating the Mobilab PC, troubleshooting devices, training new staff, and performing related clerical duties with strict confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- Phlebotomy experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Maintains compliance in RQI required
