Phlebotomist: Per Rotation needed (PRN)

Job Summary
Phlebotomist collects blood specimens and performs laboratory office duties including patient registration, data entry, specimen accessioning, and processing of specimens for testing. May handle body fluids and urine specimens, perform limited waived and specified non-waived Point-of-Care tests as authorized by the Laboratory Director, and may act as a driver and participate in on-call rotation. Requires high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy experience/training, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to other locations. Evening, weekend, and holiday rotating shifts are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy experience and/or training is required
- Background in a medical laboratory and/or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- May be required to travel/drive to other locations
