Job Summary
Join Valley Medical Group as a Phlebotomist, responsible for collecting blood samples from patients of all ages through venipuncture, processing clinical specimens, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should possess a background in phlebotomy or medical assistance, along with strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and computer proficiency. This per diem position allows for flexible scheduling, typically between Monday and Friday, requiring availability for various hours.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
- Previous customer service or medical office experience
- High School graduate or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- CPT preferred
- EMR experience preferred
- Athena experience a plus
