Phlebotomist - per diem

Conduct reception and telephone duties while operating HIS/LIS laboratory equipment. Receive and process specimens, preparing and shipping lab samples to reference laboratories. Perform phlebotomy by collecting blood samples via venipuncture or capillary stick, including therapeutic blood collection and specific micro swab collection. Manage specimen and patient registration, assign to OP Lab locations, and train new staff as assigned. Requires Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification and six months of direct phlebotomist experience.
