Job Summary
Collect blood samples from patients of all ages through venipuncture and process clinical specimen accessions. Check patients in and out, manage appointment scheduling, answer phones, and greet visitors while maintaining excellent customer service. Operate laboratory equipment and perform data entry with attention to detail. Work per diem Monday through Friday, typically between 6:30am and 5:00pm, with exact schedules determined at interview. Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program
- Previous customer service or medical office experience
- High School graduate or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- CPT preferred, but not required
- EMR experience preferred
- Athena experience a plus
