The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) is responsible for collecting blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role requires strong phlebotomy skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently across diverse patient populations while maintaining accurate logs and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience
- Keyboard/data entry experience
- Customer service background (preferred)
- Strong phlebotomy skills (pediatric & geriatric)
- Attention to detail
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification (preferred, not required in NY)
- Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred)
