Job Summary
Contract position for Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, requiring extensive phlebotomy experience, excellent patient care skills, and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws
- At least 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Proven ability to manage high patient volumes with accuracy and professionalism
- Strong phlebotomy technique with diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Computer proficiency and data entry accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Desired Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment
- Experience supporting multi-site or mobile phlebotomy operations
- Knowledge of laboratory information systems (LIS) and specimen tracking
- Proficiency with laboratory management or scheduling software
- Knowledge of specimen handling and processing procedures
- Ability to assist in troubleshooting workflow or quality issues
