Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Enter patient information accurately and timely, process billing, collect payments, and prepare specimens for testing while maintaining patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties as needed, traveling to additional sites when required. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 10:00 am for two hours daily. This part-time role supports Labcorp's mission to improve health through diagnostic testing and drug development solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- Current or Previous LabCorp experience
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
