Phlebotomist

Conduct blood draws, urinalysis, rapid tests, and swabs across hospital clinics, nursing, and assisted living areas. Review medical records or patient bracelets to verify information, then label samples and update the organization database accurately. Explain collection procedures to patients, help nervous individuals remain calm, and process specimens using centrifuges while following OSHA and confidentiality guidelines. Gathers necessary testing materials, packages samples, and coordinates stat pickups with reference labs. Maintain a sanitary work area and answer incoming calls professionally.
