Job Summary
Process urinalysis, hematology, microbiology, serology, and chemistry tests while performing blood draws and managing outside lab orders through the Electronic Health Record. Ensure compliance with federal grants, OSHA, CLIA, and clinic policies by maintaining complete logs and implementing new procedures. Assist with inventory, train care team members, and collaborate with the Lab and Radiology Manager to resolve departmental concerns. Travel when necessary to meet operational needs. Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 5:00 and Friday from 8:00 to 3:00.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Documented training or certification appropriate to laboratory specific tasks
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience in phlebotomy
Desired Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a healthcare laboratory setting
- Bilingual abilities
