Job Summary
Phlebotomist/Medical Assistant at One Medical providing venipuncture and clinical support for a Senior Health population (65+). Responsibilities include performing venipuncture and extended scope duties (non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines, PPD tests, swabs), proper specimen labeling/handling, inventory, and sterilization; assisting with clerical tasks (medical records, billing inquiries, DOH reporting) and patient communications; mastering EMR 1Life and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver human-centered care. Requires MA training or certification, minimum 6 months of relevant clinical experience, strong communication skills in English (bilingual Spanish/English preferred), HS diploma or equivalent, and proficiency with office software; in-person role based in Phoenix, AZ with standard 40-hour week schedule. Required Qualifications
- Graduated from a postsecondary Medical Assistant program (CAAHEP or ABHES) OR completed Medical Assistant training by any branch of the armed forces
- Medical Assistant certification issued by a certifying organization accredited by NCCA or ANSI
- At least 6 months of relevant MA or Phlebotomist experience outside of training
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficiency with computer technology (typing, internet, multiple software systems)
- Experience working on collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams; remote teams a plus
- Phlebotomy experience and/or certification preferred
- Experience with extended scope care (non-blood specimen collection, EKGs/ECGs, vitals, vaccines, PPD tests, swabs)
- Competitive base pay range $21.50-$23.50/hour for a full-time schedule
- In-person, 40 hours per week
