Phlebotomist (MAKO) Monday-Wednesday 8am-5:30pm

Job Summary

Collect specimens including drug screens, blood samples, and pathology/cytology processing while verifying patient demographics and signing post-venipuncture. Research orders, complete data entry for patient registration and billing, and label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens per test requirements. Safeguard credit card information, maintain phlebotomy and temperature logs, and report CIR/PPE issues to the Director. Perform clerical duties such as inventory management, phone answering, and monthly statistics submission. Work independently in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations. Requires phlebotomy certification in CA/NV/WA and one year of experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver license
  • Clean driving record, if applicable
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
  • Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime

  • Phlebotomy certification (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
  • One year phlebotomy experience (Preferred)
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment (Preferred)
  • Keyboard/data entry experience (Preferred)
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training (Preferred)
