Job Summary
Lead Phlebotomist role within Northwestern Medicine involving supervising day-to-day phlebotomy operations, staffing, training, and performance coaching. Responsibilities include hiring/training/evaluating phlebotomy personnel, teaching procedures, providing coaching and performance improvement plans, coordinating with shift supervisors and lab staff, ensuring adherence to policies, and performing phlebotomy duties as a working lead. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of experience, supervisory skills, and PBT (ASCP) or equivalent certification; position located at Lake Forest, IL with evenings schedule (2pm-10:30pm) and every other weekend rotation.
