Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, perform accurate data entry of patient information, and process billing information and payments. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to patients and handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with rotational Saturdays included.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience)
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 6 or more months of experience as a Phlebotomist
- Current or Prior Labcorp experience
- Passion in helping people live happy and healthy lives
