Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, perform accurate data entry of patient information, and process billing and payments. Prepare collected specimens while maintaining patient and specimen logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients and handle administrative duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, and Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00am to 4:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience)
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm; Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm
- Travel to additional sites when needed

- 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment
