Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen logs, and enter patient data accurately. Process billing information, collect payments, and handle administrative duties as needed. Travel to additional sites when required to support client offices or patient service centers. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm, with rotating Saturdays as needed and flexibility for overtime. Earn a quarterly incentive bonus based on performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License
- Valid driver's license (implied by 'Travel to additional sites when needed')
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience
- 6 or more months of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy
