Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient information and process billing information and payments as necessary. Provide superior customer service to all patients and handle administrative and clerical duties as required. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday/Friday and Saturday shifts in Chicago, IL.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday/Friday 11:00am-7:30pm
- Wednesday 11:00am-7:30pm
- Saturday 9:00am-2:30pm

- Travel to additional sites when needed
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
