Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across age groups at Labcorp Patient Service Center; collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests; perform data entry of patient information, process billing information, and collect payments when required; prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis, maintain patient and specimen logs, and provide superior customer service to patients; administrative and clerical duties as necessary; travel to additional sites when needed; requires high school diploma or equivalent; preferred Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months+ experience; strong communication skills, customer service track record, ability to work independently or in a team, and ability to work overtime as needed; eligible for Phlebotomy Incentive Plan with potential quarterly bonus; 1,500.00 sign-on bonus; Labcorp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
