Job Summary
Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across age groups at Labcorp sites (Patient Service Center or Client office). Responsibilities include collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity and alcohol tests, data entry of patient information, processing specimens for testing, and handling billing information as needed. Provide superior customer service, maintain patient/specimen logs, and perform related administrative duties. Travel to additional sites as needed; work schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00am–4:00pm with rotating Saturdays. Pay range $17.75–$25.92/hour; benefits available for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience
- 6 months or more pediatric experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Pass color blindness test
