Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist needed at Labcorp to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups at a client site in Asheville, NC. Responsibilities include collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests; data entry of patient information; processing and billing-related tasks; preparing specimens for testing; maintaining patient/specimen logs; providing superior customer service; and performing administrative duties as needed. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and a phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience; 1+ year experience preferred. Travel to additional sites may be required. Schedule: Monday–Friday 8:30am–4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch. Sign-on bonus of $3,000 for external applicants.
