Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collecting specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Enter patient data accurately, process billing and payments, and prepare specimens for analysis while maintaining logs. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties, traveling to additional sites as needed. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm in a Patient Service Center or Client office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
