Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process patient data entry, prepare specimens for analysis, and handle billing and payment collection. Maintain accurate logs and provide superior customer service as the face of the company. Travel to additional sites when needed and perform administrative duties. Requires high school diploma, phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency, and ability to pass a color blindness test. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Experience drawing on pediatrics to geriatrics
