Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens and paternity tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, then enter patient data accurately and process billing information. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service to clients. Travel to additional sites as needed to support operations. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm in a client office in Beattyville, Kentucky. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth and potential participation in the PST Incentive Plan.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment
