Job Summary
Phlebotomist to perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests, and prepare specimens for testing. Responsibilities include data entry of patient information, processing billing information, maintaining patient/specimen logs, providing superior patient service, and performing administrative/clerical duties as needed. Travel to additional sites may be required; role may be based at a Patient Service Center or Client office. Requires high school diploma or GED and California phlebotomy license (CPT); 1+ year experience preferred. Quarterly incentive bonus program available; benefits for those scheduled 20+ hours per week. Bilingual Spanish/English preferred; ability to work various schedules including overtime. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- California state issued Phlebotomy license (CPT)
- Preferred: 1 year or more of experience as phlebotomist
- Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English (preferred)
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
