Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens and paternity tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, then enter patient data accurately and process billing information. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service to all patients. Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Thursday from 7:30am to 4:30pm with rotating Saturday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program
- 6 months' or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
