Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information, collect payments, and enter patient data accurately while maintaining logs for patient and specimen information. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis, ensuring superior customer service to all patients. Handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary, and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday-Friday and every 3rd Saturday from 8:00AM-4:30PM.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Monday-Friday and every 3rd Saturday 8:00AM-4:30PM
- Travel to additional sites when needed
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
