Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner, process billing information and collect payments when required, and prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs, handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary, and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm with rotating Saturdays in Bedford NH.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday - Friday 8:45 am - 5:15 pm
- Rotating Saturdays in Bedford NH
Desired Qualifications
- Current or Previous LabCorp experience
- 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
