Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens and paternity tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, enter patient data accurately, and process billing and payments. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service. Travel to additional sites when needed and perform administrative duties as necessary. Work Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm in a Patient Service Center or Client office. This role supports Labcorp's mission to improve health through diagnostics and data-driven innovation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm work schedule
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
