Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information and collect payments when required, while maintaining accurate patient and specimen information logs. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis, and perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner. Provide superior customer service to all patients and handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. This role requires a high school diploma, with phlebotomy certification or six months of experience preferred. Schedule includes Monday through Friday shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Monday - Friday, 4:00am - 8:00am (start times) and 12:30pm - 4:30pm (end times)
- Rotating weekends and holidays

- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
