Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information and collect payments when required while entering patient data accurately and timely. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis, maintaining patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients and handle administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm at the Boerne, TX location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record if applicable
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
