Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, perform accurate data entry of patient information, and process billing and payments. Maintain patient and specimen logs, provide superior customer service to all patients, and complete administrative and clerical duties. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday, 4:00am to 8:00am start times and 12:30pm to 4:30pm end times, with rotating weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record if applicable
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 6 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
