Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens and paternity tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis, then enter patient data accurately and process billing information. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service as the face of the company. Travel to additional sites when needed and perform administrative duties. Work Monday through Friday with flexible hours, including 8:00am-7:00pm shifts. Requires Phlebotomy certification or equivalent training, high school diploma, and ability to pass a color blindness test.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday 8:00am-7:00pm
- Tuesday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Wednesday 8:00am -3:00pm
- Thursday and Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
