Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens and paternity tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient information and process billing data as necessary. Provide superior customer service to patients and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:30pm with rotating Saturday shifts. Requires high school diploma, one year of phlebotomy experience, and Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency. Must pass a color blindness test and have reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:30pm, rotating Saturday 8:30am-12:30pm
- Travel to additional sites when needed
