Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process billing information, collect payments, and enter patient data accurately while maintaining logs. Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis, and travel to additional sites when needed. Provide superior customer service to all patients and complete administrative duties as necessary. Work Monday/Wednesday 8:00am-4:30pm and Friday 8:00am-5:00pm in Marinette, WI. Phlebotomy certification or three months of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
