Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed at Labcorp in San Francisco, CA to perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections across age groups, collect specimens for drug screens and tests, handle data entry and billing, prepare specimens for testing, maintain logs, and provide excellent customer service. Role may require travel to additional sites; schedule is Monday–Friday 7:00 am–4:00 pm with potential overtime and rotating weekends. Requires HS diploma/GED and CA phlebotomy license (or license eligibility). Training provided with opportunities for growth; comprehensive benefits and quarterly bonus program available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License
- 1 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Flexible to work overtime as needed
- Able to attend 2-week training in California
