Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient data timely and process billing information to collect payments as required. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative and clerical duties as assigned. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with flexibility for overtime and travel to additional sites.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Travel to additional sites when needed
- Reliable transportation
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
