Job Summary
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens, enter patient data accurately, process billing, and prepare samples for testing while maintaining patient logs. Provide superior customer service to patients and handle administrative duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm in a client office environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 6 months or more of phlebotomy experience
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency (in lieu of work experience)
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Monday thru Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm work schedule
