Job Summary
Phlebotomist Float collects blood via venipuncture and capillary methods across age groups, prepares specimens for testing (including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests), enters patient data accurately, processes billing as needed, and maintains patient/specimen logs. The role also involves providing superior customer service, performing administrative tasks, and traveling to additional Labcorp sites as needed. The position offers a pay range of $17.75-$20.00 per hour and a benefits package; incentives may apply for performance and mileage reimbursement. Labcorp is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
