Job Summary
Phlebotomist will perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests; perform accurate data entry of patient information; process billing information and collect payments as necessary; prepare specimens for testing; maintain logs of patient and specimen information; provide superior customer service; travel to additional sites when needed; work in either a Patient Service Center or Client office as the face of Labcorp; opportunity for growth and participation in incentive plans; benefits available for regularly scheduled hours; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Preferred Qualifications: 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
