Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process patient data entry, handle billing and payments, and prepare specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service and fulfilling administrative duties. Travel to additional sites when needed and work independently with minimal supervision. Schedule includes Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm with rotating weekend Saturdays every 4-6 weeks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:30pm, Rotating weekends every 4-6 week Saturday rotation 7:00am-12:00pm
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
