Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups, including drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Process specimens for testing and analysis while maintaining accurate patient and specimen logs. Enter patient data timely, handle billing and payment collection, and complete necessary administrative and clerical duties. Provide superior customer service to patients and travel to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm with rotating Saturdays as required. This role serves as the face of Labcorp in Patient Service Centers or Client offices, offering opportunities for continuous growth within our global diagnostic network.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience
