Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens and paternity tests. Enter patient data accurately, process billing and payments, and prepare specimens for analysis while maintaining logs. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties, traveling to additional sites as needed. Work Monday through Friday from 6:15 am to 3:15 pm, with rotating weekends and overtime flexibility. This role supports Labcorp's mission to improve health outcomes through vital diagnostic testing and drug development solutions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to attend 2‐week training in California
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 1 or more months of experience as a phlebotomist
- Current or prior experience with Labcorp
