Phlebotomist

Job Summary
Phlebotomist responsible for venipuncture and capillary blood collection across age groups; collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests; perform data entry of patient information; process billing information and collect payments when required; prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis; maintain patient and specimen information logs; provide superior customer service to all patients; perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary; travel to additional sites when needed. Work schedule is from 10:30PM to 7:00AM, Monday–Friday and every other weekend. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist; preferred qualifications include phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 6 months or more experience. Ability to work independently or in a team, reliable transportation, and flexibility to work overtime; must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
